Unlike today, the following does not apply when snow is in the forecast.

Office Attendance Rising: Office occupancy last week hit its highest levels since the pandemic, with a national average of 54.2% of pre-pandemic foot traffic.

Steady Growth: Attendance increased by 6.5 percentage points over the past month, with all 10 cities tracked by Kastle Systems seeing an uptick.

Record Highs in Some Cities: Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and San Jose hit record attendance levels in the latest data.

Peak Days in Office: Tuesdays remain the busiest (63.4% occupancy), while Fridays are the least attended (36.7%). Midweek attendance has risen year-over-year, but Mondays and Fridays have slightly declined.

CEO Outlook: Over 80% of CEOs expect a return to full-time office work within three years, per a KPMG survey.

Government Push: Washington, D.C.’s rise in attendance may be linked to an Executive Order from President Donald Trump mandating federal employees return to the office.
